Beefy hinges used for my printer door. I had previous designs that looked a lot better and were slimmer. However, due to my heavy 700x700mm acrylic door, they kept snapping. This is what inspired these overkill hinges.
- Printed at 40% infill with ABS, 0.2 mm resolution, ABS required for me as my printer enclosure reaches 70 degrees Celsius.
- Use M5 countersunk bolts for attachment holes, 45 degree chamfer for these bolts are in design.
- Use M5 x 50 mm bolt for hinge axle.
- Spacing is 20 mm between each hinge holes. This lets you mount both hinges to aluminium extrudes if you wish to do so.
