you have to glue these parts together correct?

im thinking of printing this.. do i download all the files or just some specific ones?

This has all the files needed, no extras. I believe there are 7 files, 3 for the barrel (its too big for most printers), 1 for the handle, 1 for the trigger, 1 for the trigger guard, 1 for the stock. EDIT: I just realized I forgot the handle toppers in this version of the model on thingiverse, and just added them if you plan to make the acidgat.

hey man i see you do some black ops 2 stuff, any chance you could make the mystery box?

I might be able to do a tiny one, but I really like full size models. The thing is, the mystery box is not really a realistic dimension for printing. you would have to make like 16 panels for the top of it and probably 32 for the rest of it. It would eat through filament like a MOFO and take weeks. Whereas you could just buy some wood and hinges at the hardware store, a question mark stencil and slap one together in a weekend out of actual wood. I probably will not end up making a mystery box because I want to keep pushing the limits of what you can do with a printer that you can't do with other things, or make things easier to obtain that you might not have access to otherwise. The mystery box doesn't really fall into these categories.

how about the nuke town sign? that would be kinda cool. and a small mystery box would be perfect for my desk, but i know its hard work so it is all up to you obviously.

Hey so I ran into a problem with the handle and the full start barrel fitting together, there seems to be an interference between them.

Right, this is an incomplete object and I am still working on flushing it out to perfection. Most of these details are flushed out now, but I'm waiting until I am satisfied with my design to release the rest of the files and changes. Hopefully that will be by next weekend!

I understand, just wanted to give ya some feedback. It's awesome to hear that its coming along! I know its worth the wait because this thing is gonna look amazing. Best of luck on finishing it!

I appreciate it! Yeah it's taking longer than expected to finish it up, but that's just how these things go. I'm printing what I believe to be the final version as we speak, to make sure everything is correct, thanks for your patience!

Hey, I am anxiously waiting till this is finished as I would love to print it and hand paint it for a convention im going to, ill make sure to print out a tag so everyone knows you made the model. Looks great so far!

Hey thanks! Yeah sorry its taking so long, I moved places and print studios so there has been a bit of a delay on progress. However I do have some more of it done I can upload tonight after work most likely.

Great work my guy! Looks amazing. Can't wait to see the full thing

looks great, might as well do the magma gat now lol, does fusion allow exports of higher poly models

Umm I believe so? I haven't tried but probably. like I said, this model is not yet complete, and I am still working on a trigger mechanism accompanied by misc. other parts I left out because they weren't finished. I really want to be able to break the barrel effectively, which sadly cannot be done with printed parts alone (at least that I am aware of). It's simply too much strain on the breach support.

Ive printed a break action revolver, and for the hinge the printed pin did break but i was able to replace it with half inch metal rod, so you may wanna try that. I cant wait for it to be fully finished. Im excited to print it
