I have a question when you have an expansion board such as this, where does the extruder stepper motor cable go? Right now it goes into the Molex connector going to the control board but with this, I am unsure as to where it will go.

The extruder stepper motor will not be affected at all when putting the extension board.

Since the Geeetech A10* are bowden extruder devices, only the cable that connects to the hot end directly will be replaced by one that leads to the extension board, so that afterwards the single components of the hot end can be plugged to the extension board seperately.

The stepper motors for the extruders are still directly connected to the mother board.

the way my A10 came from the factory, the extruder motor cable definitely does get routed into the hotend cable.

Hi, where did you get the expansion board?

I was in contact with the sales from Geeetech through their web-shop and after discussing a few aeons, they were figuring out that it would be easiest to change the controller board to a GT2560 V3 (which has separate connectors for the endstops), plus chinging the extruder-cable to one with a connector for the extension board, plus the extension board to be mounted to the head.... so I was sending them the requested payment via paypal, because they didn't have it in the online shop.
