hello! I have a mac, so the zip for legs is kinda useless for me. Could you post the legs STL.s?

I'm afraid not. There are around 200 combinations for the legs and thingiverse has a maximum file number.

could you post a sample of 10-20?

oh, the zip works, it's just the program does not run for mac, therefore the leg codes are useless

Hi Mattt! I seem to be having a problem with the Zip files for the legs, is there a way to fix that? Thanks

Just printed one of these to test today but the scale seems off. Printed it on a photon and they look tiny next to a standard space man.

That space man is scaled to primaris size. The size of these models are correct, and interchangeable with the standard model. https://www.thingiverse.com/make:599261

Cataphract Terminator Builder

Odd, just checked the scale of a real space man and it is 1.4" which is what the spaceman I have printed is at. But the terminator is shorter. Will confirm size of terminator with the box of terminators I have ordered today.

the base and the squatter pose

What goes on the top of back 3?

Nothing. Someone requested a broken body awhile back, so it matches out to the front with the crack in it.

Oh I see it now, thanks! And thank you for making these, I'm having fun printing them!

Where can I get the files for the arms? These files are amazing btw!

Beautiful work! What paints did you use, especially for the blue?

Sorry for the late reply.

I started by priming with leadbelcher then hit the rest of the model with base colors (bone, yellow purple) After this I painted most of the armor segments with Vallejo 70.841. I wash most of the model with nuln oil, and the blue parts with drakendorf nightshade. The blue gets lowlited with 841 again then progressively lighter mixes of 844 and 961. the last thing to do on the blue is to hit the shaded and reflective areas with waywatcher green. Most of the rest of the model is finished with paints from the vallejo mecha line, rust, oil brightsteel and paint chipping.

Just amazing work! Thank you for everything you do I have a great time printing these with a Saturn Torso on my new photon. Took a few hors to get everything together but it has really enhanced my desire to model!

Now, this is excellent stuff.

Would it be possible to get the individual leg bits (upper, lower, and groin)?

I ask because that way I can pose them any way I need to, including onto scenic bases I sometimes 3d design.

If it's too much to ask, I understand and go ahead and ignore it!

Cheers!

I have a follow up question. If i was to use it on Shapeways, for myself only, (because i do not have a 3D printer and can't afford it), how would I scale it to fit a space marine torso so that it would be perfect for a true scale style figure.

Sure. for GW scale they need to be 10X the current size probably 11.5-12x for truescale. But if you can wait another week I am about to release a patch to fix all the scaling issues. Shapeways might not the best option. If you go to https://www.makexyz.com/ or a similar site you can find local printers who will usually give you a much better deal. In addition the printer I am using for thees is about 250 AU (ender 3) so depending on how many you want to make that might be the least expensive option.

You are a god send. Thank you so much.

Do you think you can do MK 3 or 4 Space Marines?

Eventually. I'll need to raise the money for a Photon first though. I think the terminator scale models are about the smallest I can do well in FDM. In the meantime though I'm working on updating the terminator builder for Indominus, catifractii and Saturn pattern armor.

Thank you for your hard work, I hope I will be able to help you and your work.

I just got my first set of guys off my printer this morning... My 30k army is really starting to come together. Thank you so much.

You're quite welcome, and thank you! Stay tuned, more 30k hardware is coming soon
.

I have no real world purpose for these, but having fun making them nonetheless. Thanks!

I know right? Totally useless :D

I love these. Is there any chance you could do similar for regular marines. I am trying to outfit ab army in mk ii and mk iii without them all looking like carbon copy squads

Oh man, even that would be amazing

I get an unexpected end of file on the legs zip with 3 different compression utilities.

I've re zipped it and re uploaded it. Please let me know if that didn't work and I'll try it without the zip file.

There we go. Opens just fine now. Upload must have gotten interrupted as your new file is 70MB bigger than the last one.

Thanks!

Thank you! Those legs are an easy way to truescale standard marines.
