Better design carriage for the Core A8.
Doesn't include a part cooler. You can use any that fit on the stock Anet A8. You probably already have one.
This is the one I am using: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2088006
This requires extra parts:
1 extra bearing for the carriages. The XY carriage needs 4 in total and 4 for the hotend carriage so 10 bearings all up Anet A8 only has 9.
An E3D-V6 Bowden setup.
A part cooling duct is required for this carriage. You can use any of the ones that fit the stock Anet A8, so lots to choose from if you search on thingyverse.
Capacitive Sensor Mount:
Recommended print settings are:
30mms to get good accuracy.
3 wall printed inside out.
Everything in PLA except the hotend clamps needs a heat resistant filament. ABS. I kept them small and separate for easy printing.
Pictures show printing orientation.
I used the default support settings for the main carriage. The XY mount left only need supports shown in the picture. The part cooler adapter need supports under the connection holes.
This carriage is for this thing:
I have plans for some other V2 parts as well.
