WOW! I had no clue this was even possible with a single extruder printer. Just printed the MK2.5s to go on my printer when the bear kit arrives. It is just too pretty! My MK2.5s prints better than my MK3s and is becoming my favorite (hence the bear upgrade). Thanks even more for the tutorial!!! Well written and easy to follow, even for me.

Thanks for your kind words , I'm glad you like my tuto :)

Regarding MK2.5 , I also did a full bear conversion on mine ( Went from MK2 to MK2.5 Full bear in one go ) and I couldn't be happier with the quality and consistency of my prints . Printed the Squash ball feet aswell, which really helps to keep the noise down without worsening the quality .

any chance of adding a I3 MK3S version to the collection?

Had some spare time :) MK3s and MK2.5s versions added , have fun !

Sure , why haven't I thought about that myself :) Will be added very soon !

Thanks a bunch, Claude !

Have fun ..

I think it would work with .4 mm. I would appreciate it....and .6 too if it’s not too much trouble. Thanks,

Could you please send me your email address via pm ? I have the 0.4 and 0.6 models ready for you , but I don't really want to add them here ... I'm afraid people will get confused if there's 10 different ones uploaded to this page :)

Is there any simple way to make the lettering any mere vivid? Make it stand out more? If another layer of the lettering were added wouldn’t that do it, and how could that be accomplished? Thanks, Justin

If you're talking about the LCD display in your make , it is the black shining thru the orange text which makes it so "dull" . It's hard to say if it would need one or even more additional layers of orange text to make it really vivid ( more color changes of course ) but if you want to try , I can generate the stl's for you with 0.4mm or 0.6mm "deep" text ?

Great idea - thanks for the work, and especially for the tutorial....

Hello! This looks great. Can you do one that says MK3 please?

Done and uploaded :)

I have also published a tutorial on howto print those on a single extruder printer ...
The tutorial is linked in the thing description

Have fun !

Hello, can you please explain how to do this? "I printed made these using a manual color change configured as second extruder to get both colors on the same layer"

I've been trying to find this information :)

Thank you!

Hi Ringo, which Slicer are you using ?

I could do a small write-up on how to do it using Slic3r , but I have no experience with other slicers ....

Hi and thank you for the reply. I'd love the write up using Slic3r! I've been trying to come up with ways to edit STL files and remove sections I want in color and then re-insert them. If I can just swap filaments while printing for specific portions of a layer, that would be more amazing! (I'm not keen on printing an entire layer a color and seeing the color on the edges)

Thanks for checking the draft version for me !

Hello. Can you make version for MK2S please?

Replace mk2.5 with mk2s ?

Made and uploaded :) Have fun !

Thank you very much ;)
