I own a OCZ ZX 850 W, ATX PSU, this is a weighty, powerful modular ATX PSU which I intended to use for safe, quiet use with my AM8.
The mounts I found on Thingiverse for ATX PSU's, either did not fit or were not strong enough to hold the weight of the PSU.
I therefore designed and printed this very simple, but very robust mount.
I'll admit, there is probably more that can be done to make this require less filiment etc, but I wanted something reliable.
This design could easily be printed with a greater layer height, or even potentially with lower infill, although I will not print further mounts to test this.
6X M5X10 button head bolts.
6X M5 T-Nut.
4X M3X10 bolt.
I had to use M5 bolts with a smaller profile head, for the 40mm side of the mount, in order for the head to fit in the recess, this is to prevent the bolt intefering with the PSU itself.
This could be modified in the FCStd file very easily, but as far as I am concerned, I am finished with the design.
I have supplied the FCStd file to be opened and modified in FreeCad if you chose to.
