I noticed that some air ducts create strong resistance to the air flow. Because of this, the fan reduces speed.
How well does this duct work?

I really appreciate the design, in my eyes it makes perfect sense.
I use this fan https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Sunon-EF50151B1-C02C-A99-5015-12V-1-92W-50-50-15mm-Ultra-Quiet-Humidifier-Turbo/32820917468.html
But for the standard anyubic owls the fan seems not powerful enough, they don't turn out great.
I even flashed the firmware to 12V. Any ideas?

Edit: I found an old fan (I think it was the stock Anet A8 one) with 4000 rpm. Seems like 2200 rpm just aren't enough. Which is sad because with it the silence is gone...

which fan do you use?

I use a sunon 5015 radial fan

This duct touches the hot end when mounted, more accurately the right side.

u have to turn the heatblock about 90° ;-)

gotcha. will do

Thank you for your feedback
Your distance between fan and ultrabase looks perfect ;)

Thanks for this feedback too :-)

ignore my wish ;-)

Very good fan! Thanks.

But a small improvement would be still good. The cutout for the screw connection could be a bit larger, so that I could go even further down with the fan. 2-3mm to Ultrabase is not possible with my any.
