An acrylic refraction lamp and pencil holder!...
In short this was a study to make a layered landscape, the middle layer being an engraved acrylic, with light.
Laser-cut project. Designed for 3mm in MDF and 5mm acrylic (PMMA).
You'll need a dual AAA battery case, small on/off button, 4 LEDs.
Update (Ago 2019)
- new instructions;
- all laser-cut files are now in dxf R12 ASCII format (0.2mm kerf* compensation).
.* kerf is the amount of material that disappears by the cutting process. To avoid the use of glue and make a correct assembly, this kerf is compensated in the vector file itself.
