You have thousands of "bugs" in your body already, and the dishwasher does sterilize to a point, and a 10% bleach soak will get the rest.
I grind my own meat ayway. C' est la vie'

i was thinking you print it uses it to make a bunch then freeze them and thru the print away

There is no way in hell I would ever use a 3d printed item with raw meat. The 3d printing process leaves too many gaps and pores.

110% agree!!! FDM IS NOT FOOD SAFE!!!

Agree. Even cookie cutters that doesn't have too much contact can end up beng a bacteria resort.

While some filaments are food safe, the process of 3D printing itself isn’t an fda approved process so I’d be careful using this on any wet or damp foods. Dry goods are okay but there are microscopic pores in 3D prints that can hold and grow bacteria.

Yeah sure! But your wooden or plastic cuting board has microscopic pores and growing bacteria. Bacteria is part of our live))) С'est la vie...

Well - another participant in the Darwin award ;-)

While a wooden board can be put into the dishwasher after contact with raw meat most plastics will not be able to withstand this treatment due to softening - but only such heat / washing treatment could result in the elimination of health risks.

maybe PLA, though there is food safe PLA that can also go in the dishwasher but the dishwasher still isn't going to get into those pores.
