Did you ever fix the problem with the vex coin?

The only thing I need to know is how to do his little rolling thing on his fingers he does with them, that would top it off!

DING! DING! DING! DING!

Love the models, will have to get them cnc'd so they can do the DING!

For some reason i cant print on Simplify3D, i cant see the coin on "Print Preview". Any suggestion? Thanks

Could you please share editable file? I would like to print double sided coins on resin printer. and Surface quality is quite poor (

are these one sided, or do you make 2 of each and glue them together on the flat ends, do you glue a blank to a symboled one, or the drifter logo to the back of each?? if you know what i mean

do i glue 2 of the same to eachother, or a blank to a smboled, or a drifter symbol to a enemy symbol? or just leave back flat? which is the most accurate?

Hi kg. As I began typing this response, a song lyric came to mind that I can't help but pass along: "It's your 'Thing.' Do what you want to do." (The Isley Brothers, 1969). With that said, I'd answer "which is the most accurate" as follows:

  1. Disregard the blank coin; it was added for someone who wanted to follow the Isley Brothers' advice.
  2. Print 7 of the Snake (Drifter logo) coins
  3. Print 1 of each Race/Enemy coin (5 in total).
  4. Glue 2 of the Snake coins to one another; this replicates the Drifter's coin when he first appears.
  5. Glue the remaining Snake coins to the back of each Race coin; this replicates the Drifter's coin after he flips it in the air.

For some reason I am having an issue printing the vex coin. it is only loading up a corner of the file and not the whole thing in my prusa software. any thoughts on this?

Hmm. I'm honestly not sure. Is the Vex coin the only one causing an issue for you? In other words, have you tried any of the others and are they doing the same thing?

Having the same issue just with the Vex coin. Back of coin printing fine right now, but in the slicing software it doesn't see the coin - the layer preview is wonky and shows only a couple of nubs. I was using PrusaControl for that slice.

I then used Slic3r Prusa Edition, and the layers looked good, so added all the coins to the project file. Saved it then loaded it into PrusaControl just to see if there was still an issue, but it looks like all is well - Vex layers are all visible. I'm printing the lot so we'll see if it works out!

Ok, Vex coin printed fine. I don't know slicing software well enough to determine a root cause, but it looks like some software may have issues with the model file for Vex. Try Slic3r?

Awesome files! Got a buddy who loves Gambit and I think this will make a great Xmas gift! Any chance of some info of the color name / brand of filament in the pics? Too many "greens" and "emeralds" that don't look right lol!

Thank you! Although it's also specified above, I printed them in "Hatchbox" brand ABS - labeled as simply "Green." Here's a link to what I used: https://www.amazon.com/HATCHBOX-3D-Filament-Dimensional-Accuracy/dp/B00J0HC4QC

Well done!! Print worked beautifully!! Any chance you could post the "blank" Gambit coin with no symbol on it? I'd love to print a custom one for a buddy of mine with his gamertag on it. He'll flip!!

Thank you & cool idea! Apologies for not seeing this sooner but I've now added a file for the blank coin.

Thank you so much!! =)

Alright, alright, alright!

This is exactly what I was looking for! I was searching for the gambit coins to make and then the search results refreshed and you literally just posted this. Just made my day.

Awesome! I'm really glad to hear it! Feel free to post a make and let me know if you see anything that needs tweaking.
