Seems that it was designed to fit a bed diameter much smaller than the 240mm diameter bed of my Kossel Plus (my measurements on your step file yielded a design diameter of 71mm). I've modified your step file to make it fit my 240mm kossel.

The .step and .stl files of my modified version are attached for your perusal.

Thanks for posting this thing!

hmmm, interesting. I have the original kossel plus bed(240mm) and using them as shown in the picture above. They are working in production. Maybe, as I remixed the part it might have been designed for a smaller bed originally.

However, thanks for sharing your design, let me know once you tested them successfully with your printer.

Hmm, so do I. I have the stock 240mm bed with sticker. In fact in your pic with the green part I can see that even on your printer the radius of the clamp doesn't quite match the bed. Your bed is being retained only by the left and right points of the clamp and the center is hardly touching it.

I just finished the print of the final design in PETG and it's a perfect fit :)

See attached pic - original on the left, print on the right.

P.S. The file I uploaded in my other comment is the third and final revision of my remix (I printed it twice - first I had to increase the thickness of the slot to get the bed to slide in comfortably, then I had to lower the base height to match the original clamps exactly. My idea is to leave my printer with 3 originals and 3 of these clamps, so I can take off the bed by just loosening 3 screws and sliding the clamps to the right).

sounds great, I give them a try once I update mine. Do you want me to add your files to this thing or will you post a remix on your own?

I think you could just add the files to your thing (maybe with a small attribution? ;). I mean, 90% of the design is basically your work so you deserve the tips. Plus I think it's easier for people to find it here.

sounds like a plan. updated thing.

Awesome, thanks for the attribution :).

I've fitted a custom part cooler to my printer (thing 2735314). It juuust clears the bed clamps, leaving about 1-2mm clearance between the clamps and the bottom of cooler when the nozzle is at 105mm radius from the center (105mm is the approximate real maximum print volume of my kossel).

If you ever redesign this for any reason, it might be a good idea to shave some 1mm off the top to increase clearance with custom part cooling ducts.
