How do you make it hollow? The designs are solid. Someone please help me out i'd really appreciate it.

In the print settings section I wrote "Printed using vasemode (also called Spiralize Outer Contour in Cura)." Hope this helps and good luck!

Does anyone else find it prohibitive to print this vase (or any vase) using something like Polyalchemy Elixir due to the print times? I sliced a 250mm tall vase with Cura using recommended settings and it came up with a 50 day print estimate!

No! It is a fantastic print! If you downsize it to 0.5 in Cura only takes around 30 minutes to print at 60 speed. You may just have bad settings setup in your profile or aren't using the Expert options where you use the spiralizing magic option. This is one of my favorite prints on this site!

Did you enable spiralize outer contour in Cura? The original was printed in about 2.5 to 3 hours.

I did. I must have some wonky setting left over from a previous print. Using default draft settings in Cura it came up with a little over 5 hours. Polyalchemy recommends a 25-40 print speed so that bumps it up to around 12 hours. Upping the size to 250mm doubles that to 24 hours. Not as bad as I had thought. Beautiful vase btw.

Good luck and thanks!

Would love to obtain higher resolution model

I have updated the model to include a higher resolution version (Version 2). This should substantially reduce the horizontal banding present on the previous version. It took about 3 hours to render the new version in OpenSCAD and 11 GB of RAM, so I hope you like it, haha.

Please post images of your make if you print it.

Thanks, yet I still see some banding. Not as much as before though.
But I'm afraid it will be visible even on 0.3m tall vase.

Wouldn't it be easier to just share the source file?

Made this last night, and it turned out fantastic on my Ender 3! Thanks!!

Thanks for printing!

Thank you for this thing! Thumbs up to you!
