Hi, I'm interested in your design, however, I already happen to have some pneumatic fittings designed for ptfe tubing from a previous project that would probably be a bit more durable than the printed adapter. Do you think you could make a revision that would accept an adapter? Its a PC4-M6 (M6 Thread). I'm not very good in CAD

EDIT: On second thought, I realized I'm stupid. The aluminum block that threads into the throat is also M6, so all i have to do is chop off part of the throat (unless you just want an absurdly long throat) and and tighten the fitting in, then thread in the throat till it hits the fitting....duh. Anyways, I'll leave this comment up for anyone else who wants to try this method.

As we all know, there are many versions of the A8 out there, each with slightly different dimensions.
so, could you please tell me the distance between the 2 8mm X axis rods on your machine?

I found it a little bit too bulky (fans imo extend too much to front as for my needs) but still you mad me smile by video - Rossi vs Marques in Sepang 2015 was hell of a fight. Rossi vs Lorenzo in Catalunya 2009 was better, but only a bit.

Is the wire holder in the pictures the same as the "WIRE-HOLDER.stl" file? It looks different to me.

I have a questions. How far in should the wedge be within the Extruder and Hotend? How far does the tube extend into the wedge?

hotend.jpg: Give about 2.5mm clearance on hotend for the heat break to slot in.
extruder.jpg: The PTFE bowden tube stretch out approximately 2.5mm.

Hey, this looks great! I will print one as soon as I am done with my conversion to AM8. However, one question: What good is the extruder fan (and in extend, the printed fan holder you mention in the description) if it is placed there? The extruder in the Bowden conversion is in a totally different place, right?

Hi! You're right. The extruder motor will be on a different place. As for my current setup, I placed it on the top right of the frame, above Z axis lead screw. The fan is there to cool the black block (I don't know the exact name) to prevent possible heat creep. I have read somewhere that we can get rid of it entirely as it doesn't do anything. But keep in mind that the black block is attached to the carriage which was pla plastic. I think it's a good idea to let it sit there to help cools down the block.
