This is a replacement lookalike I created in order to replace a broken Dometic fridge lock. The replacement item is more durable than the original due to the reinforced catch on the back side.
Should have printed in grey but I only had black available at the time.
This test print in PLA has been in use for about a year, withstanding internal temperatures up to 40 degrees C without a problem. PETG would be a better option though.
The part is a tight fit and does not wobble when moving.
Devel PLA PLA/PETG
Test print was made out of PLA and did not have a problem with high temperatures. PETG would be a better option. No supports are needed. Print orientation as shown in the photos.
Printing with many perimeters and low infill is beneficial for filament usage since most of the model is quite thin except the base center, where using more filament will not benefit strength.
