The files were modified and now have been uploaded to my Thingiverse page.

I have modified the x-axis mount back and front .. now you can adjust the bottom rollers to the desired grip .. enjoy

Today I assembled the x-axis - with the Mini V wheels I used, I still have around a 3 to 4mm play. I even installed the belt under the wheels but I still have a lot of play. I compared the x front to the y side and there is a difference of 3mm in the bottom guide,

can you please verify? why there is all this play- or else specify which rollers used for the x-axis?

I used Banggood size 1 mini v wheel. 15.2 diameter.

I have the same problem with my 15,2 mini V-WHEELS...Please did you solve this problem? Thank you:-)

I modified the side stl , you can find it on my page . just print it and adjust.

Did you ever manage to complete the guide to building this, or even a guide to the electronics and need more detail than the last picture shows

Yes I did. You can see in video demo or pictures I attached in this thing. I'll make document for setup, and post a later. By the way, you can get source file and open it with Sketchup 2018, at least you have more detail about hard-ware.

Thanks so much nntuan! I will make your cnc! but i have a question for you... On your page (sketchup) i saw that you prepared version 2 of this cnc... Do you have the bill of material? I think that it can be more strong than this 1.0 version. Did you have some issue with 1.0 version? I think that v1 chassis maybe can deform when you move this cnc because of 2020 profile instead of 2040 profile of v2. What do you think?

Dear alexdam92, In fact I started with "TQCNC - Laser Engraver ver 2" first and done with it, but all of assembly by acrylic. And I bought my Printer 3D, I think I can print all of assembly. Therefore I make project "Mini CNC Laser Engraver - Version 1.1.0".
Yes, ver 2 with acrylic is beautiful and stronger than "Mini CNC Laser" with dual Y stepper and 20x40 v-slot profile. Important with ver 2 is material is Acrylic and maybe we should hire service cut from other company :).

Hi, I'm very interested in the cnc laser engraver and want to 3d print the parts. However, I do not see end limit switches shown in the materials list, but they do show up in the wiring schematic. Can you provide any info concerning switch types used and mounting them?

Hi @Nick1686, in fact Laser is connected to arduino via GRBL shield. I just up Diagram Connect picture. We use pins of Z+. Hope helpful for you.

Is there any chance that you could add a little Z axis? I want to make a machine that would have some kind of a quick-swap tool head so I could change the laser to a plotting knife but it needs a short Z axis to work...

Hi Michael. Thanks for interesting with my project. Laser Engraver is very popular, and you can see my small project is same with many other products.
First time I try buil with Acrylic, but very expensive and depends on other service. When I meet Printer 3D, I very love it and I think why I don't use Print 3D for print some parts of machine. And you can see final result.
By the way, I wanna provide and share full solotion: Design, Document, Guild build and Manual in use. I wanna spend more time and maybe one month for that.

what is working area for this? 40x30 cm is machine size right ?

2.5W Laser Diode is laying around here since many weeks, first i wanted to add it to my 3d Printer, but now I found this and I think I'll give it a try!I have got another Aduino Board (but with Ramps Shield but i guess it will work as well) too..Thx a lot for sharing this! Which Software do You use to make your Laser-Jobs?
