I've tried 3 times now to download this file, but when I open any of the .stl files in Cura there is nothing but a shadow. Is the file corrupted? I don't have issues with any other files.

Thats weird. I tested it in the Prusa Slic3r and simplify 3d, all normal and working. I dont have Cura so i can't tell if thats the reason, but i doubt it since it's the first time i hear of that issue and im sure many people use cura.
Maybe some issue while un-zipping the file ?

weird, just sliced the invisible .stl and I can see it in preview, but still ghost in prepare view

Great model, loved printing and painting it!

Nice I like the alt base. Will def be printing one as an update.

Man this is a gorgeous model!

I'll try to post the make tonight :) the print came out flawlessly (used the two halves file)

This is a really nice looking model. Printed one, will remove supports tonight, but initial pass looks good. Kinda want a variation that is a bit more silly to represent Xanathar :)

First print turned out about 92% awesome. Some teeth did not print well, and 2 eyes failed on the underside. Support setting are a little tricky, needs to be enough for all the details, yet light enough to remove without breaking anything. I'll prob keep my first as a secondary beholder and try to print another for a lead (ie, improve the teeth/facial features).

I did print the single file, not the two halves, however, I tilted it back so that the mouth was upwards/forward. Next shot will prob be a full tilt back, and then maybe the split file. Can't hurt to have 3 beholders in the end, anyway, right?

That for sure :D would be interested to see your make if you want to upload it. My first was the full file too but i clogged the nozzle due to errors in the file (which are all corrected in the uploaded one), maybe thats why i didnt try it again.
For my Beholder i used "liquid green stuff" from Citadel to close the crack between the halfs.
But if you can get a nice print done in one piece thats even better.

Sure can! First "make" I've uploaded. Its a great model, prob will give it a second spin tomorrow but 90 degrees tilted back.
