Running a Mendel with a 0.5mm nozzle, no issues printing, told slicer to generate support. Put them on my Rostock as it went 3D today (i.e. fitted the parts to the wood, and the steel rods between :) Just for giggles, I compared the originals to these and these are definitely more secure/stable. Well done, O Creator :) and thanks :)

Note: for people that have 0.5mm nozzles, you will need to adjust the scad (extrude_width) otherwise support won't be generated in your sliced model.

I'm using a 0.35mm nozzle and I also had to increase extrude_width before the support would print. (I used Skeinforge instead of Slic3r, so perhaps that made a difference)

Interesting ridge design too? Are you going to incorporate that into the rest of the bot?

You mean my z axis wobble? I have one threaded rod that is not perfect so I end up with this in all prints. The rostock has no threaded rod, so no wobble :).
