Hi. I printed this and it functions well with the micro switch. I also designed a cap for the sensor and added it as a remix. I have a better version (v2) which I plan to test print soon. But I'm having a problem with connecting this to my printer. I watched the linked video, and I still can't get it to work. Are your using normally open or normally closed? And which terminals did you connect (NC or NO) and common to on your motherboard (S, +, or -)?

I finally got this working. My Trigorilla board is a version 1.1, which does not have the Servo0 (S0) header. I tried the other servo connectors shown in the linked video and couldn't make it work with this type of micro switch. I tried using the Y-MIN endstop header (with the firmware set to FALSE and #define FIL_RUNOUT_PIN 14) and it worked the first time.

I'm sorry, I just saw the notifications for your messages. I'm glad you got them working. I use NC. I have extra endstop ports on my board so that when the filament runs out it registers as the endstop being triggered. From there, a quick change in marlin to target that endstop and everything works perfectly.
