My factory can CLAD this printing in SILVER 925 and maybe you would like to sell it on your site or any other way as a SILVER Dinosaur Bones Necklace.
I have 3D printing machine.

What size jump rings should be used with this?

If memory serves I used either 5 or 6 mm rings.

Just made one. I have the M3D so I scaled each piece 50%. The middle part kept printing double and I had to keep remaking it. I downloaded it again, scaled to 53% and that fixed the issue. Looks great, I will link it tomorrow.

Hi, was wondering how many jump rings you used, approximately, just to get an estimate of how many I'll need

Depends whether you intend to string the entire thing on jump ring or use chain. Between the parts there are 15 rings. If you use rings as chain then it really depends how long a chain you need. Sorry, not terribly helpful!

I saw Felicia Day's video 'flog' ( https://youtu.be/6TdT14Fhn78?t=57s ) and thought , oh cool! shes wearing a 3D printed necklace I saw on Thingiverse... but nope... just wondering whats going on here? http://www.tattydevine.com/dinosaur-necklace-gold

I guess more than one person had similar ideas at the same time!

Mine was based off some laser cutter files that I found on here and remodeled for 3d printing. I quite like the longitudinal way that tattydevine have pierced the parts for stringing up, that's rather clever. If you search for 'necklace' on Thingiverse you'll find another t-rex design that has the holes in that direction too.

Is the head suppose to be upside down on the necklace with red back ground, or am I seeing things?
Cool model though

It's actually supposed to be 'strung' using the 2 holes on the top of the skull. Nobody seems to have done it this way so far though, including my wife who strung the original!

I just finished to printed it in a Rep Rap Prusa Mendel. I use ABS (1.75mm). The first one was in PLA (not a good choice) and in a full scale (not a good choice either). Finally, I adjust in 60% of the original scale and came out awesome!.

Mine is in PLA at 0.57 scale. Any chance you could post a make? I'd love to see someone else's version!

I'm not getting my 3D printer till the end of the year & I don't know when I'll be getting my stuff for casting but I'll keep you up to date.

I'm going to do this in lost PLA casting & use either gold or silver my wife is going to freak, now that I think about it I might need to make two one for me also lol.

Sounds awesome! Please let me know how you get on...my wife would be interested in seeing the process too.
