I wanted to make a scabbard for the rose's sword which i printed from thingiverse user 3DcentralVA (link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1718552 ) so I designed this.
I also wanted to make it wearable as a standalone thing, so i made it in a way to attach these belts to the end pieces: https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/Badinka-2018-New-Korean-Black-Yellow-Purple-Pink-Wide-Automatic-Canvas-Belt-Femme-Knitted-Long-Jeans/32886126470.html?spm=a2g0z.search0184.108.40.2060c2267Edg453&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_5011115_10152_10151_10065_10344_10068_10342_10343_10340_10341_10696_10084_10083_10618_10304_10307_10820_10821_10301_5011215_10843_10059_100031_10103_10624_10623_10622_10621_10620,searchweb201603_45,ppcSwitch_3&algo_expid=623aae5d-01b3-4375-9209-20b6834bb9e5-2&algo_pvid=623aae5d-01b3-4375-9209-20b6834bb9e5&transAbTest=ae803_2&priceBeautifyAB=0
I have also included the top and bottom pieces without a part where the belt connects, because people might not want to add the belt
I myself made the main body out of wood and added the plastic pieces afterwards, but i have included the part to make the main body out of plastic
for 1 scabbard you need:
1 x of the two top pieces (with or without belt connection)
1 x of the two bottom pieces (again, with or without belt connection)
15 x body 5 cm OR 5 x body 15 cm
1 x middle
1 x logo OR 1 x logo plate, 1x logo spin part, 1 x logo leaves
I will warn you however, that I myself did not print the body pieces. I made my main body out of wood and based the plastic pieces off of that, so i can not guarantee the main body to be sturdy! it will stay together if left untouched, but i designed mine to be worn so please take note of this!
I like to see how other people make this, so please post your makes!
I printed the pieces at 30 mm/s with a 0.4 mm nozzle with pla plastic
also i used a 1.2 top/bottom layer and 1.2 mm walls because i wanted the pieces to be sturdy
if using the top and bottom for belt, remove the support
Glue the parts together and make sure it is glued properly.
