Hi. I'm using Simplify3d, and the stl file loads as a solid object, not like a vase with edges. Has any one else seen this, thoughts on how to adjust it?

Indeed, it will always look like a solid object, even in other slicers, at least when you first import the model. I don't have Simplify3D, but I know it is a feature in the slicing options. Once you enable vase mode in Simplify3D if you look at your preview, you should only see bottom layers and a thin wall. Check out this topic - it might help. Otherwise, I'm certain that the makers of Simplify3D will be able to clarify how to use the feature: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=7899

Hope this helps and let me know if you get things working!

Does this work like an actual clock or is it just a wall art? If it does work, can u tell me how?

It sure does work as a clock! :-) Once printed, you can make use of a clock movement from a craft or hobby store. (Or Amazon for that matter.) I got my clock movement at Hobby Lobby (https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Wood-Crafting/Clock-Making/1-4%22-Mini-Quartz-Clock-Movement/p/26202) as well as the hands (https://www.hobbylobby.com/Crafts-Hobbies/Wood-Crafting/Clock-Making/Gold-Terry-Clock-Hands-Sweep/p/29761). That said, you should be able search for "clock movement" on many online retailers to find a similar movement.

I currently have the clock in the picture in my cubicle at work. It's keeping great time.

Please, if you have more questions, let me know.

this is really nice! Great work.

Thank you, Mark!
