Is that hole for the LED?

Actually there should be 2 holes
one for the led and one for the on/off button
I think I just drilled out the hole for the button

Super handy looking. Do you have a version with a wide enough entry hole for a 3 wire cable? Where I live these wouldn't be legal do to the lack of ground. If not do I have your permission to modify the STL for my own purposes? This is a nice design though, and I'd love to use it for Christmas come December. lol

P.S. I wish Sonoff would just include a damn ground screw, so many people just forgo it instead of routing it around.

Sorry for the slow response. I didn't made a grounded version
I too use mine mostly for indoor holiday lights, which are seldom grounded
I think a grounded version would require more than just making the hole larger
There is only just enough room behind that hole for a strain relief knot for a 2 wire cord
Plus there is not much room in the box to get the extra wire up to the outlet
I think a grounded version would need to be a bit larger to deal with these issues
ButLysolPionex stated you are free to remix if you would like to try it

It's a CC license, so just mod it. If you upload it, use the "Remix" button on this design, which will automatically attribute and reference his work.

Thanks for this.... was looking for a little hack like this.

Where does the retainer piece go?

Great question. Sorry, i just kind threw this entry together.
It sits on top of the middle post so that it clamps down on the end of the Sonoff board.
I should probably note that I desoldered the connection blocks from the Sonoff (i think the retainer would be block by one of them)
I solder all of the connections to the thick traces on the underside of the Sonoff board to ensure good solid connections

FYI, I have edited the main description of this thing with this and other helpful tips about this project
