I've been eyeing this boat for a while, and it has been on my 3D printing bucket list ever since it came out. I just managed to print it, will post a make. I was awed by how beautiful it was and how well it printed. However, while in the car ride, the railing on the side of the boat, being too weak, snapped. I'm sure I could fix it with glue but it seems a little delicate, especially for the little ones. I had to keep my younger cousin from touching it to prevent it from further breaking. Do you think that you could possibly strengthen the railing? Thanks!

Yeah, I know this railing isn't meant for the youngest kids. I will try, that I find the time to adjust it.

Hi just wondering how to tell the printer to stop at the layers to change colours and how to tell where the layers are in the GCode

Thanks for the model btw

Hello, I explained that in the description at the bottom. With me it works quite simply with the M600 command. Unfortunately it doesn't work on every printer.

I saw that but how can i know where the layers begin and end in the gcode. i am using slic3r

Another great design! Thanks alot for sharing .
My grandchilds love them all and I'm the best grandpa on earth ;-)

That pleases me. The most beautiful thing on earth is a child's smile

I've printed some bathtub boats for my kids and they love them, but water always slowing leaks in through the print layers, and eventually they sink. Do you have a good technique for preventing that? A layer of clearcoat or something?

Of course, PLA cannot withstand water forever. This helps to increase the wall thickness to 3 and reduce the layer height to 1.5. Clear lacquer also works, of course, but it requires a little more effort. Until now, my son has never bathed so long that the boats got in trouble.

Finally! I loved this when I saw it on Instagram, I’ll be printing it soon! Great work!!

Think, and I'm looking forward to your great results :)

So cute, I never cared for boats, but after printing benchy Im in love with them, nice one, Ill print this as soon as I buy new filament

That's great ) small boats conjure up a smile in your face

Nice work I like your boats.
