I adjusted the design to accommodate a Dewalt Router for the Shapeoko 3. Successfully printed it but had to throw it away because there is no way to get to the support materials of the 3D Printer which are inside the unit. I printed it with with orientation just like it is mounted to the router. Should I print it any other way or???

I printed it with support from the bed only. I find it clogs fairly easily though.

Thanks. I started printing another one.

If using a dust separator, this design will greatly hinder your suction. I printed this and then cut the circle larger for the suction. It works much better now.

How much bigger did you make the hole?

The bottom hole that is open for the suction (not the cutter) I opened it up to meet the larger ring on the bottom.

Is there a Dewalt 611 Version of this? Or maybe I can just resize this where it mounts to the router? I have not done a remake yet.

Thank you.

No but I can post the solidworks file. Resizing should work but note that this would change the size of the outlet as well.

So I was actually thinking of creating this and adapt it to my Suckit Dust boot. Thank you for posting the Solidworks file, I can modify it in Fusion 360 and post it back to Thingiverse to share (if I'm successful). It might be a while.

I just added the 001 solidworks file. Unfortunately, I am at a new job, and no longer have solidworks, so I can't natively modify the features for you.

I recommend scaling up the entire model, then extruding in additional material to the outlet to maintain the internal diameter.

I printed this and it works great! here is a little video of before and after https://www.instagram.com/p/BnCr6kajH34/

Glad you like it! Let me know if you can think of any improvements.
