had big problems with arms not fitting in to body right. I wish you fixed you back rubber what ever to be the right size for your model. visor did not fit I wish this was not an option. it should have been one peace. I fixed it by putting in boiling water for a sec then force forming. shoulders were a bad fit a lot of sanding and still not a perfect fit.

You've made a vast improvement on this model, but there's still a few things I'd like to alter. How did you get it to open on tinkercad? It limits to 25mb and the head is 31. I really want to modify the mouth and gills. I printed the head from the original files, then started realizing the things that bothered me. While it's an AWESOME model, it drives me crazy the the mouth is essentially upside down.

You are better off doing this in Microsoft Windows 10 3DBuilder. Exporting from Tinkercad has its issues with low poly count and sometimes a shell that is very lumpy.

Originally the body was in two parts. I imported them individually and grouped them and then modified from there. I still have the tinkercad file on the tinkercad site and will gladly share it if there is a way to do this.

Hey can you share the head and shoulder armor? I want to add your rivets to the head. Many thanks for taking this project on! Your model is a huge improvement!

Hey there. Very cool print. I have a question regarding the visor. Mine doesn't seem to fit, looks like it shouldn't be so curved. Anyone else having this issue?

Edit: now that I check it, it looks like the guides for holding it on the head may need some filing, am i right?

If I remember correctly, yes, I did file down some of those visor lines on the body to make it fit.

awsome. I don't find the old XYZ Workshop ED 209 model... but yours look amazing we'll done !!

Thank you! I spent about 3 months on this model modifying, printing and painting it.

I started printing this only to find that nearly every part required redesigning. Either to actually allow them to be printed without loads of support or, in the case of the visor, to make the part fit. I have now printed everything and am just trying to get everything to go together.

Awesome looking model. Should have used stainless bolts though. Would show much less corrosion over time. :D

Nice work. It looks stunning. I guess I just found my next project :)

The rubber torso blackflex stl doesn't seem to fit properly or am i missing something else.

i have just printed this part re scaled in Cura to X:56.5 mm, works a treat

Lucifer, I believe that was one of the
peices I didn't modify and if memory
serves me I did have to scale it down
a bit and then sand the front for a
proper fit.

Is it possible for you to give me the dimensions so i can scale it down myself. it's the last piece i need to print.

I scaled it down to 80 or 85 percent. I had to print that part several times to get it correct. However, I will gladly take some measurements for you and post them here, if I can get a ruler in the tight spaces. I will also see if I might still have the file I scaled and printed. Sorry, i thought i had saved my changes.

if i print this will i hear "you have 4 hours to comply"?

Loonywozzer, you would probably have to
take the files into a slicer program, scale
It up in there and re-save the .stl files. Not
sure how large a print area you have but
that could be alot of work.

this looks great , any idea how i would scale it up to be 1/6 scale would be good next to my hot toys robo

Nice work can you include the arms?

Great updates! Are the arms missing from the download files?

My bad guys... Sorry!
Here's the arms .stl file.
Will update the .zip file with the arms included and also add the arms file separately.
