did you upgrade your hot end as well ? ... i have a F430 and am keen to do both as having trouble with standard extruders on TPU

Yes, I am using an E3D v6 hot end. I utilized the cartridge heater and thermistor supplied with the F430 to make the conversion easier. I have been getting really good results using a 0.6 nozzle printing mostly CF reinforced nylon. I have a new iteration of this bracket that makes the whole assembly a little more stable that I will be posting soon.

great thanks for the reply ! , i thought it was E3D so i will order that , and good to know the heater etc worked as i wasn't sure if it is 12/24V and how hard to change them , i guess it is 24v due to the heat capability of the 430 ... anyway great to see someone modify successfully and sharing the info ... i have also used the flexion extruder on another printer and it seemed pretty good with TPU ... the bondtech looks like it will work well also , presume u didn't need any other changes other than reset x to bed height

I adjusted the X limit switch to keep the nozzle closer to the bed, and I still need to adjust the print volume, but I have yet to print anything large enough that it matters yet. I will upload the new bracket on Monday, it includes (2) holes on the outside edges to help keep the bracket from flexing when chamber temps are run up high.

Hi Again

I have got bondtech and e3d parts , just a couple of questions if i may as im about to start modifying my F430 as the stock ectruders are driving me crazy :)
1) did you have too move the BLtouch sensor ? up or down
2) what did u do with the filament sensors from the current extruders ?
3) presume u just rewired the fans

Think i have most figured out from your pics , but any traps to watch out for ?

1). I did have to move the BL Touch down. I just bolted it right to the bottom of the bracket. You will have to reset your z offset obviously.
2). I removed the filament sensors and jumered the connection so it would run. I am working on a bracket to relocate the sensor to the top of
the extruder.
3). Yes, I purchased a new fan to replace the on on the heat brake. This was because the included fan was not the same voltage as the original.

You will need new flat head hardware to reattach the cooling fan, but other than that the install was really easy.

Ah did you have to change your stepper motors for the extruders , i have reverse rotation , i ordered the BMG extruder in left and right hand but they both are gong the wrong way ....

Great thanks for your help , have managed to sort mine and got it all back together :) , ill keep an eye out if you can share the filament sensor bracket that would be appreciated , thanks again :)
