Just a note - I replaced a few batteries in my old tile mate, and after a year of activation you can't update the firmware on them to newer version (integration with Siri/Shortcuts etc on iOS)

Is it still fully functional? Does the speaker still work?

Yes, make sure you have a Tile Mate, the speaker is not connected with wires on Mate.

So I just printed one of these to try out and now I am incredibly mad that I threw out all those other Tile Mates. At least I still had two lying in drawers that are now working again :D

Hi, I'm happy that you found it useful!
I've noticed that the app now tells me that I need to replace my tiles even though they now work and have battery.
Also seen that they have a new tile version with removable battery.

@codah @geordieguy What 3dPrinter settings did you use? Layer Height, Infill etc etc? I did mine on "draft" (.3 height, no Supports) and everything worked except for when the battery lid fell over halfway thru printing lol

I'm using standard settings. nothing fancy.
Be sure you print the parts flat, you'll probably need to rotate around the x-axis 90 degrees.

Like the design, haven't tried to print it yet because I am not sure how you have the battery connected. In the photo with the battery cover off - how where is the +ve lead from the battery. In my tile, there is a flat 'wire' that touches the top and bottom of the battery. Anything special for the battery?

Hi, There's no wires in my Tile, and it's a Tile Mate, maybe you have the older version that's just named Tile i think?

The level of detail on this case is fantastic, probably a little too good for my printer.

Thanks for your comment, I hope you get a useful print :)
