The Better Bobber is an easily adjustable 5/8" or 3/4" diameter float that can be used for bait fishing or as a fly fishing indicator. Just back off the nut to expose the slot in the male thread, slide in the fishing line or leader and then tighten the nut. To adjust the fishing depth, just loosen the nut slightly and pull on the line. There is no need to fully remove the nut once it is installed.
ABS is best because of its significantly lighter weigh.
With the proper settings the nut should easily thread onto the shaft. Some deburring may be required. A light oil will help with the first installation of the nut. Alternately advance and retract the nut until it is fully seated. If the threads are too tight reduce flow.
Coat the body of the bobber with clear nail polish to insure there are no microscopic leaks.
If the model installs into your slicer very tiny or very large, scale to 2540%.
