Hello dear fishing friends,
As a passionate fisherman, I once thought, what you can do everything for fishing with the help of a 3D printer. Here I have a DIY kit for building the popular Tyrolean holzl. All you need is a 3d printer, temperature resistant 2k duplicating silicone, 8 / 11mm hose, gas burner, an old pot and of course all safety related protective equipment. :-)
The top pieces have to be filled with at least 80%, I recommend to print them from Petg or PLA and this annealing.
the shapes themselves do not need much, they were printed with 10% infill, these are filled after printing with the freshly mixed duplicating silicone and allowed to dry for 2-4h. Then carefully cut and remove the PLA shape from the cut line. So the silicone molds are ready for pouring with lead. Place the silicone mold on a fireproof pad, melt lead and fill carefully from above. Cooling can be accelerated with water. After cooling, remove from the mold and cut the edges just above and below. Done is the lead weight.
Now you can put the lead, the hose and the head piece together and have a finished Tiroller Hölzl.
Have fun while rebuilding, but gently melt the lead! Imitating at your own risk !!!
The top piece is the same for all sizes, the shapes are for 30, 50, 70, 100, 120 und 150g
