I tried using this shield with the rumba+ from aus3d and noticed that the board is completely different than the usual rumba... Is there any chance to have an updated schematic?

Except for the color, the rumba+ aus3d board doesn't look very different compared to the original one. Could you please detail your problem?

The main problem is that exp3 is shifted more to the right than the original rumba. In addition, the 12v +/- are separated from the exp 3 block as can be seen in the following picture:

You are right, there are slight defferences on the exp3 connector. Unfortunately I have no time to make a new version for you, but you can easily modify the board using eagle from autodesk. After having done the modifications, you can try to print the pcb on a paper and see if it fits your board. Also don't hesitate to share your work, other people might be interested. If you need some help, you can PM me. Good luck !

I have acquired 5 PCBs from JLCPCB, and am about to populate with connectors. I notice there is polarity indicator for the LCD connectors EXP1 EXP2. You have used pin headers rather than a keyed box header. Was this because of the problem with Rumba and the RepRapDiscount Full Graphic Smart Controller and cable orientation or did you just have those parts available ?

I used pin headers because I didn't have keyed box headers at that time. The cable orientation problem between the rumba and the LCD is fixed by this PCB, so if you follow the silkscreen indications, it should work correctly.

Sorry, I don't have any board left. I advise you to try ordering it online: just upload the Rumba_shield.zip file on the PCB manufacturer website and it should do the trick. If you prefer not to order from china, I believe OSH park works well if you are in the USA. For the components, regular pin headers just work fine and can be purchased almost anywhere (ebay, aliexpress, amazon, ...).

Sorry, I do not have it anymore. If you don't want to wait for the PCB to arrive, just look at the PCB layout with the provided files (you may need to download eagle)

Hi. I am considering buying this pcb but i dont know if i want to wait for it to arrive. isn't it possible to directly wire it without this pcb?

The SPI bus is shared between the LCD and all the TMC2130 drivers. If you really want it now, you can just solder wires to make the connexions. Before ordering the PCB, I made a prototype using a protoboard and wires. The PCB is just to make things cleaner and more reliable.

pretty neat design, have you tought on adding some pull down resistors on the miso line?

im having issues using a max6675 on my wiring (not using your design)

Sorry, I didn't think of adding a pad for pull-up / pull-down resistors as it was working fine with the TMC2130. You can find the sources in the download section, so feel free to modify the design.
