I printed this, and inserted it... then dealt with a week of tracking down a subtle "scrape" sound... turns out the nylon of the wire loom was rubbing on the print layers, every time the bed moved.

15 minutes with 220 grit sandpaper and I'm back to silence (well, except for the steppers... main-board upgrade is on my "to do" list).

Ooooo! I get to replace my cardboard box I've been using for 1.5 years?

Printed as is, came out perfect! Thank you for making the snap on version!

I try to print and it failed when it comes to the back end. My support didn't do the job. In the picture, you can see the orientation I used.
I need help :)
Thanks in advance.

I assume you're printing on the Ender 3? I would try the usual, re-level the bed and double check your print settings. Maybe slow down the print speed? I use Cura with standard settings for the Ender 3 and have printed 3 or 4 without an issue.

print without support, let the lugs fail at bit and trim them up with a knife?
Or you can pinch my remix if you like, no support needed xx uCH

These look great and Thank You for the remix, however...
Cura files seem super unreliable on Slic3r - I have Cura 32bit as well but am still struggling to get a slice that will actually print.
I tried the other one, with the 4 lugs and the G-code failed 3/4 of the way through. Missing a chunk of the anti-snag veins for some reason...
I'll keep bashing, eventually it will print, I just wish I could do it on Slic3r.
When I load it into Slic3r I get zero-thickness walls all over the place, any ideas why? xxuCH

It was a fairly snug fit but works great.

Thank you for this remix that does not require drilling and fasteners.

thanks this was on my growing list of things that are great but just need a bit of work to make them perfect thanks for the upgrade

Wasn't having any problems with snagging but better safe than sorry...Thanks.

Thank you! I also thought the same thing about the original - , that's really nice, followed by ugh, I have to drill out the frame and tap my own threads!
