E3D V6 Mount for Tronxy X5S
You will need:
2 - 30x30x10mm 12v fans, yous hould have one with the E3D V6, if not you need 3 fans.
2 - M2x10mm bolts, for the X endstop microswitch.
2 - M2 nuts for the above bolts.
2 - M3x5mm bolts (minimum length) for the lower part of the base, upper use original bolts.
2 - 3x15mm selftapping screws to hold the E3D V6.
Fixed the misplaced microswitch mount that got in the way for left side fan.
I had to sand the duct ends slightly with the silicone sock on the heatblock.
I will not change the ducts because if you don't use the sock it fits nicely.
Fitted the base on the X-cart with the hotend.
Waiting for the left & right 30x30x10mm fans to arrive so i can test run it.
- Finally tested it, printed a PSU box that took 24 hours :0)
Theres just som stringing when the nozzle moves to next step.
But thats me who need to learn the settings with the slicer program.
If you have Simplify 3D and a Tronxy X5S config let me know...
You can either glue left and right fan ducts to the mainframe
or using screws through the fans and base intoo the ducts.
I glued mine in place.
