What are you using as a mold release?

For my last batch I soaked the mold in a bowl full of water with very diluted dish soap for a few minutes. ABS doesn't stick well to silicone though, and if you use too much solution it can form pockets in the corners. So on my next batch I will experiment with using no solution at all. The soap and water will still be used for post process cleaning, but I am pretty confident I can still get good release times and likely better results without introducing water directly in the mold. The humidity from the wet bag trick should be enough.

Printed every thing this morning and set one up using the soapy water. Followed the instructions on the main thingy. I have tried a couple other sock molds and they did not work. So crossing my fingers this one works.

Thank you for this thing! Thumbs up to you!

Slic3r PE is showing that stls are broken and it slice it wrong. Could you fix then, please?

lange23 beat me to it... a fixed stl is in his remix. Sorry for the inconvenience. I did see the holes in those stl files in freecad, but Cura sliced them without issues. So I got lazy about fixing them. Thanks lange23!

I'm sorry if I beat you to it. I didn't mean to.

No offense taken, I am in fact happy you did. ;)

Thank you both for good job :)
