Have you ever printed this? I am in the planning stages of making a gravity gun with lights, sound and an electromagnet, and this looks promising. I don't want to spend that much filament if it won't fit though

Sorry no I havent printed it but it looks like an easy enough project. The splitting of parts and or separating is very simple. I made a video to help those slice and separate there files with ease using windows 3d builder. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3077839 hows that helps cherry's Jace

It's super easy for this model. I'm curious though - why do you use Windows 3D builder?

True if your just seperating shells and or groups then that is quick and easy. But if you want to prepair each individual part for printing then you can split cut and level your pieces all in the one go simply. I guess they both have there benefits. Don't get me wrong I love Mesh mixer and that is what I used to get it to this point. But for preperation to print and repair files ready for printing then 3DBuilder hands down, Cheers Jace

Actually I am trying to do the same thing! I have been trying to split up the model and export it as an .STL but I need a software that does that. Any suggestions?

Meshmixer is by far your best bet :)

Thank you so much!
I am really excited to see how yours turns out.

Honest talk, I abandoned the project again. I decided to go another direction, but I'm excited to see if you have better luck than I did :D

Ok lol I will try to post my results when I'm ready. :D

I can't wait to see it :D

Good luck, I look forward to your projects progress : ) cheers Jace

Sorry no, it has never been printed that I'm aware of, so would be a real first project for some one.
Oh and no idea if or how it wil fit back together as it was a request to repair as best i could at the time, cheers Jace

I'll give some pieces a shot, then we'll see :D If I deem it has potential then I'll post my experiences

I can't wait to see if this works q.q I want to give this to my brother who is a HL series fan and to repay back the favor of getting me into 3D printing u.u

It seems it can be done - but the model is the wrong scale. So it will be crazy expensive to print, but totally doable with minimal cleaning up of the models :)
