Nice design!

Nice design!

Love this model. After re-watching Joel's @3D Printing Nerd video I decided to print hte bin in vase mode. Using Cura I sliced it with 1.2mm wall thickness, no top layer and 0% and 4 bottom layers. When it got to top of the long indents, I have notcied the same thing as Joel pointed out. There are gaps appearing.

Hecho. muy original. Muchas gracias.

hola. te consulto, para las piernas, no usaste soportes? las imprimista paradas?

Love this, thank you! I printed the "long bin" trash can part and it's totally sealed (Top and bottom) not like support, really like a lid that does not come off. Did I do something wrong? Thanks for the awesome design though, love it.

Directed here by 3DP Nerd as well! I printed a micro-version which didn't turn out that bad. I am currently working on one to use a 3-ounce, paper cup as the bin (scaled to 64.6%). Cups: https://www.amazon.com/Dixie-Bath-Cups-Packaging-Vary/dp/B00RLT4RKM

3DP Nerd led me here, I am printing a hulk themed trash walker with Green Bin and Purple ring/feet. Any chance you may remix where it prints the bin well in vase mode? I am trying at 2x and it is leaving gaps at the tops of the grooves.

i could modify the bin to avoid that gaps...i may add as a new file here (bin_vasemode_nogaps.stl or something like that)

Thanks for advice!. but i don't mind. In fact i encourage all makers to print my stuff and sell printed objects. Also the Thingiverse page with the model is linked . :)

Doesn't look like that is breaking the rules on this model.

Awesome model! Any chance of adding a lid to the bin? :D

There is a piggy bank style lid for the can in the remix section.

I'll have a look, thanks!

in Cura look for a parameter called 'spiralize' for printing hollow without top layer ;)

Saw this thing on 3d printing nerd i felt i needed one in my life :D

hhee, thanks, happy to see you like it.

Thank you for the prompt response

you're welcome

Are the legs printed standing or laying down?

standing, no supports needed but you may want to use a brim to improve bed adhesion and avoid warping

need layer and infil settings per part plz

0.2 layers, 20% infill it's a good setting for all the parts. Use supports in the ring that holds the bin
