The 3D Printable disposable Toilet Brush..(yes... ) Maybe someone can use it to clean up the crap around here.
You know, with all those old plastic toilet brushes clogging up the oceans, the whales are having a terrible time of it.
You see, they seem to be mistaking them for toothbrushes.. and while oddly amusing at first, it's not terribly hygienic for the poor things.
So, do the whales a favor and print yourself a disposable toilet brush out of PLA.. or some other biodegradable material.
Feel free to scale it up or down to your desired size, the brush on the model here is 6.5cm wide.
0.2 or if scaling larger, 0.3mm
The larger you print, the more you should increase the layer height as this will minimize how many passes it does for each bristle. (ie if you printed this at 0.1mm and large at say, 10cm wide) the bristles would take about 5 layers each, as opposed to 3 layers at 0.3mm which is a little more flexible but they shouldn't be prone to breakage.
Increase bridging speed as per usual with hairy models if you are having issues with the bristles but they should be ok otherwise, I have printed this (the bristles anyway) and they came out fine, just watch your fingers slicing the support around in the circle.. I didn't.
Use a sharp long knife and cut around the inside edge to free the bristles from support.
