This Dicetower fits standard dice or dice slightly bigger (maximum diameter 30mm). The spiral cuts a slit all around the tower so you can see your dice without any transparent materials or grids.
Pictured is 200mm in height, models range from 100mm-300mm. For any other height just ask me.
Added a stackable version of smaller pieces, to print on smaller machines and glue together later on. The middle piece can be printed multiple times to stack up in height.
Attention, I updated the stackable version and did some slight changes to handle very thin model sections. This new model is not compatible with the previous ones.
Added a tray on request to go with the tower.
Added a new version 10_8_3 with a little detail at the gate. The small section on the free hanging slit part is sometimes a bit tricky to print. This gate will help to support this and give a cleaner look. So far I've not printed it to test this.
Updated version 10_8_3 and made the gateframe thicker for better printing.
Supports are only recommended for the slit, the spiral tunnel itself should print fine without supports. Check notes for detailed parameters.
0.4 nozzle, 0.2 Layerheight
It works with just one walllayer, but 2 are sturdier. At least 3 top- and bottomlayers. The layerheight should be maximum half the nozzle size, the tunnel inside is pretty steap, but works without supports. (Bigger layerheight might end up with some loose strings on the ceiling of the tunnel, they doesn't matter the funktion, but are ugly.) For supports change the angle to 70°-72°, then you should only have supports in the slit and the bottom opening.
