Am i missing something? The file is missing pieces. It only has one Left side piece.

Download the files separately.

anyone know the dimensions?

Hello, first of all: Great work, it really looks awesome! Thank you :)

But could you please provide me a Version cut in half for printing on my CR10S? I think it should fit.
It is a huge awful work to glue the 8 pieces together... i want to print another one of this anyway.

Would be really really helpful, thanks in advance.
best regards

There should be a file in the list that has the full mask, you can just cut it down the middle in meshmixer or a similar program.

Thanks for the advice, but i can't get Meshmixer to work properly... I'll try again this evening, if you could provide the files for me in the meantime it would be great. Anyway, i thought it would be impossible to edit STL Files as i only know Solidworks for such things. :D

pretty new to 3d printing, but does this STL model come with supports already or do I need to add them (I've been using Cura)

The model doesn't have supports, you'll need to add them. Good luck! :)

Hi there! I'm in the midst of printing this out and it looks great so far. Do you have any tips for painting? This will be my first time painting a 3d print. Did you use spray paint? How did you get your white lines so nice? did you use a lot of painters tape to make sure nothing would bleed over onto other parts? So many questions, haha, it looks great though congrats!

I used filler primer to get rid of the print lines and fill the gaps, and then I painted with acrylic paint (by hand). I used smaller paintbrushes for the details, and i did a wash with watered down black acrylic paint as a top layer to give it a more weathered look. No tape or spray paint (though I'm sure you could get a lot of cool effects with an airbrush! I have no experience with that though, can't help you there)
Anyway, good luck! I look forward to seeing your make :)

Do you have a color list or tutorial you wouldn’t mind providing? Just finished printing which was the easy part.

Awesome, thanks!! I'll use these tips when I start painting.

Man, the desing is AWESOME, Thaks for share it whit the community and thanks for taking the time to do the artistic photo book, it helps a lot for the painting.

I hope you enjoyed the desingning as much as I enjoyed the making and the painting.

The only bad thing is that every single person that see it in the wall ask for one for him or herself xD

I'm hoping to make one! Got any tips for painting or gluing it together?

Sanding, sanding, sanding...!
You could try filling the spaces between the pieces with wood filler after they've been glued together to help get rid of the seams. Especially the seams that go through the eyes--those can be really noticeable if not sanded enough.
For painting, I did a few washes with diluted black acrylic paint on the top coat to give it a more "grungy/dirty" look, which ended up making the eyes pop a bit more too~

Good luck! Be sure to post a photo when you finish it!!

Are you able to include the full model so that I can print it in one piece?

The full mask is in the file list, it just doesn't show up in the preview for some reason. Let me know if you're having trouble downloading it and I can try re-uploading the file.

I just downloaded it, and it did include the full mask stl. Thanks!

Am i right that a couple of parts are missing in this download? Started printing it, but i'm missing some left side parts..

Hmm, it looks like they're all there... There should be 4 pieces on the left, 4 pieces on the right.

When i download it, the 4 right sides are there, the left only 1 (L-mid-horns)..

It looks like they're there in the list, you could try downloading each piece separately. If there is something wrong with the files or you still can't download them, let me know and I'll try reuploading them.

Thingiverse has a LOT of issues that they don't care to address or fix. I, too, downloaded this as a complete package and it is missing the other three left pieces....

You are completely right! When downloading it as a package, it doesn't download them, but separately they do. Totally forgot about that option of individual download. Thanks! Right side done, left to go ;)

Wooooo!!! it´s amazing , so realistic : D , hope i can print one : )
