I'm definitely going to print this for my Mom!! Great job!

Hi FootballFan141 :-)

thanks :-) I like you enthusiasm :-)

I only tested the hook (mount with bore.stl) on the Top with PET-G Carbon. I think PLA is strong enough to do the job. But not in the direct Sun in a hot climate. In Spain I saw PLA printed stuff deform due to the Sun shining on it trough the day. But otherwise I think PLA could also work for the “mount with bore.stl” part.

Wish you Success with printing and feel free to ask if you have more questions :-)

Would PLA be ok for everything? That's all I have right now.

How do you suggest this print?
Can you just remove them? it will still be glued

Hi ruro :-)

I think, I do not understand your question. Can you specify it some more?

in file ROOF_PART_with_cable_bore.jpg some element printed in air, see screenshot.
may be it need remove?

Do you mean that the first layers of the “connection knob” have no print support? If so, yes thats right. But it will print nice enough. Besides that, you wont see it when the roof is assembled because this “knob fits in the roof part next to it.

If this is not what you meant, please specify you question in more detail :-)

Hi, like your design most :-).
Would like to print it, but the roof doesn't match to my printer 200200200.
Could you kindly devide it in two parts or send me the design, so I can do it.....

Would appriciate very much. Thank you in advance!

Peter

Hi PankovPeter :-)
Thanks for the compliment :-)

I understand that the Z hight is a problem, I cut it in two for you.
You can find them at the Thing Files named as:
ROOF PART SEE COMMENTS PankovPeter part1.stl & ROOF PART SEE COMMENTS PankovPeter part2.stl
I hope this is what you are looking for, otherwise let me know :-)

You are the best, thank you so much, exactly what I was looking for.

Ok Cool :-)
Success with the printing, I hope the new parts print well :-)

Couldn't do it up to now :-(, my printer was down. will try tomorrow .....
would it be to much, if I ask you also to delete the support structure from part one. It might be not necassary as the part is much smaller now.....

Made a 3th file. Please see “ROOF PART SEE COMMENTS PankovPeter part3.stl” at the Thing Files tab :-)

hope your printer works again ;-)

I hope this helps, otherwise let me know

Hi again,

it takes me 5 hours to print part 2. Half of the first is done, seems to go smoothly. But will take some time. I will post some pics after finished in "makes". Thanks again, your support is much more than expected.
