Unless I'm missing something, these won't fit a E3D Pro unfortunately

This was my first print on my new Ender 3. They worked quite well although I eventually upgraded to the ribbon cover which offers a much sleeker look. I do still have the two on the back of my machine to hold the power cable.

My third print after the dog, printed 6 at once for the both cables. Really tidies up the machine. Thank you!

What speed should I use while printing, and infill?

I used a plain jane PLA at 200/50 10% infill, Slowed it down to 40 to try and get reduce the strings from an old spool.

That totally depends on the type of filament you are using

Just perfect! Thank you so much!

Thanks a lot.
Perfect, easy and fast to print, the result is a good looking printer well managed.

These clips work great, I just feel the clips with the psu cable a little tight.

First project on my ender 3 that was successful. Made a half dozen and came out perfect.

Thank you so much!

I printed the ribbon clips and a 90 degree clip in one printing. The whole thing took around an hour and now my Ender3 is neat and less prone to me inadvertently hooking a cable.

how can i remove them

You cant, they are permanent..

Seriously though, read the description and look at the photos.

the description says you can remove them with a screw driver

Thank you for this file sharing.

Really nice. Thank you!

Thanks Ronald, although I cant take credit for the original design.

simple and fast print time, nice work thankyou.

How many should I print of each?

As many as you want!
I have 3 at the back for the PSU cable, 3 at the front for the ribbon cable, plus a 90 degree one behind the display (see photos).

Thank you That's the answer I was looking for. :-)

These are perfect - thanks!

Good to hear, thanks for the feedback.

I felt I was doing something wrong.

Thanks for the model.
I printed the one with the lever and the lever broke when I tried to remove the clip from the extrusion.

I imagine it did, that's because that part isn't a lever - from the Thing Details:

"This does create a weak point with the extension on the 90 degree clip however there should be no tension on this part (unless you use it to lever the clip off..)."

Use a screwdriver on the tab if you need to remove a clip.

Hi. Yes I used a screwdriver. Pushed it between the extrusion and the tab and it snapped off easily. Maybe my print was weak due to material used. Will try another one.

The little tabs to lever the clips off are on the outside of both arms - you would be hard pressed to break it if done as show on the photo: https://cdn.thingiverse.com/renders/80/46/f6/ad/4b/9aa7943a8e75703be10544c0e20fd53e_preview_featured.jpg

I order my Ender 3 and while I wait for the delivery, I have started printing different parts (I have another printer). I am printing these now and they look VERY small. Can you please tell me what size they are suppose to be? Thanks!

Hi sdmeier,
Outside dimensions are 19mm x 10mm x 9.5mm.

nice Display backcover ;)

You need a couple of the 90 degree clips. ;)

I'll print and test your clips ;)
