The cylinder on the back is a round over on the end and the ribs are inset not going out. The hole through the back handle is only there on the ver. with the scope put on backwards with a flash lite in it.

I'm sorry about that,but it was work in progress at the time. With every version there was a complete model too in case something like that. If you measure which part is missing I can cut that part and send it to you.
I'm not sure what is going on, because I just download it and all 4 parts are there together with whole model. Did you get same parts? Maybe there is something wrong with Thingiverse server?
Please don't throw away other bits, Just take a pictures and measure length and I will cut the missing piece for you
