nice design..
i think that opening some windows on the sides can help preventing over heating of the motor..

Could you upload the 3d source design file for this? I would like to adapt this so I can fit a 48mm long stepper on my Z Axis.

i am not sure if the idea to connect a base extruded beam with a z axis beam is a good one. for instance, look how the PSU is attached.
and prusa is made the same way..

Just checking you sure it's m4x8mm as mine only just come flush with the mount?

same thing happened to me, im gonna try some m4x12mm or m4x15mm

Thank you so much for making this! Great work!

Just wanted to confirm that you need M4 T-Nuts, not M5? Thanks!

Yes M4. The holes in the sides of the mount are sized for M4. I suppose you could use M5 if you enlarged them.

Is there enough room to put a dampener on the stepper?

I do not use dampers, but I doubt it.

Just a heads up, doesn't actually fit on the CR-10 due to the T-bracket (that the Z end stop mounts to) at the base, which doesn't exist on the Ender 3.

Thank you, I just discovered this myself as I printed one for my CR-10.

What way around did you print it?

Flat/square part on bed

Works great! Now my Z-axis screw is straight with no binding, thanks!

Works great with the Ender-3. Bether than the original mount that makes my ''motor'' rise from the mount
