Brilliant! I'll try this as soon as I get home... I have several flashlights that eat AAAs like smarties candy.
Great thought on the ground wire too... I would have modeled that up, printed it, and then been like (in I am Sam voice) "why isn't this working??".

Nicely done.

Thanks for the kind words! When I made these I already had a bunch of extra lithium cells from a bulk buy i made years ago (needed some for iot projects). My kids had several camping trips in a row and I had to buy one of those big packs of AAA's to keep up. After that, it was a no brainer what to do with my spare time with the kids away... make a lithium adapter. :)

Note that different flashlights come with a variety of different threads, and some of them (Duracell brand is one) make their flashlight bodies such that they can't be easily modified for lithium. I had to design this size to fit 2 of the 3 flashlights I had. So if you haven't yet, be sure to measure the threads before printing to make sure you print the right one.

Birds of a feather my friend... I had a similar score some time back: https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=170841

I will check out the thread pitch before I dive in. Thanks for the advice.
