Great work, thank you.
I printed three cases, as I have too many bit's.

If someone need a wall mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3670559

bit case holder

What a brilliant idea with a wall mount.

Any recommended slicer settings? I used .20 layers and 20% infil and I'm getting these issues on the top piece (see image)

Got done with mine this morning and it turned out really well. screws on great. also attached is the speeds I used on my ender 3.

Hmm, doesn't look good.
My settings were also .20 and 20%., .4 nozzle and everything else pretty much default. Sliced with Cura and printed on an oddball of a repstrap machine.
Machine isn't particular fast and temperature was probably 200C, with a one direction part cooling fan, nothing fancy.
Is this your first attempt with threads? I have made quite a few designs with Fusion360's threads, never seen them fail like yours.
I notice it is mostly on one side of your print, is that repeatable? How is your part cooling set up?

I use Slic3r Prusa edition with stock settings on my MK3. So it's relatively slow (besides infill) and hot, fan runs the whole print.
Yeah this is my first thread print. Maybe an issue with Amazon Basics PLA. Guess I need to do more test prints with threads

I haven't used the Amazon basics pla but have heard people having good success with it. I use Hatchbox from amazon it's almost the same price and prints really well. but I would try going slower and see how that does. I've not had any issues with threads on my ender 3. good luck and let us know how it turns out.

might slow down and raise your temp. looks like the layers aren't sticking

Hm, first time this has happened, and it was at 210º :D. Guess it's just the design that may require the slower and hotter settings.

Are you printing in PLA? 210 should be good then. maybe just try slower? I run my pla at 205 and walls on my ender 3 at about 40m/s

Just a quick shoutout to thank you for making and sharing this, it's a really handy item.

Glad you like it. I have realized that the screw-on-lid is very practical for many uses. It will not pop off during handling and transport - takes several turns to open. I have a few more designs featuring the concept I should see to share, like my headache pill box. Should post that one too.

Great work! A very handy item for my first "something useful" print.

Yeah, it seems to be quite common to start with some more arty things downloaded from here

Awesome, great work!

Can you release an editable file? I'd like to add a magnet to the bottom so I can stick it to my toolbox. I just need the bottom of the holder to be a little thick, (like .150 instead of .070)

I think the fusion360 file is there already, right there along with the two stl's. It's doesn't work for you?

You're right, for some reason solidworks wouldn't open it though. I figured it out, I think, thanks!

Nice design, thank you!
I've made a remix for 4mm bits:

Wowstick / ES120-121 4mm bits holder

Nice work, bits fit nicely. It would be cool if there was a smaller version too. hint hint nudge nudge

Or one that fit the taller version of the bits as well.

Boden 2 mal erfolglos gedruckt, Abbruch an der gleichen Stelle.

How long did it take to print?

10 hours, much bigger than what I expected

some hours, didn't really pay attention to print settings or time

I really like this and it will fit on a Monoprice Select mini so bonus,
