I also had problems with the top of the two caps that go on the y-axis (the one between the belts). I noticed that there was not enough clearance the bottom belt scraped on the cap when moving the bed back and forth. I removed it before attempting to print anything but I imagine it either would have caused binding in the y-axis movement or would have worn the teeth off of the belt. Also, the bottom y-axis cap was too wide to fit between the tensioner. I plan to try and file down the caps enough to use them sometime over the next few days.

UPDATE: After just a few minutes with a file, I was able to get both caps installed on the y-axis extrusion. Definitely make sure that your caps are not touching your belts before firing up your printer. I would recommend filing down the pieces that may contact the belts just to be safe.

You mean I can finally replace the damn cap I lost? Amazeballs!!!! Thanks for this, because I was too lazy to design my own :)

The one inside of the pulley was a NO GO for me. I ended up jamming my printer. Be cautious about putting the one inside of that pulley. I would just do the ones outside of the moving parts.

Please make sure the pulley is properly centered when its tension is set, under no circumstance should the belt touch the endcap. I made its openings wider than the 2020 gaps just for this reason.

can you design an endcap for the 4040 bottom extrusions?

Sure thing. I will drop you a link once its done and tested.

Hi mate great design, could you provide me the step file for these things please I would like to work on something for the Ender but horrible with measurements. Thanks

All mine are the same .STL as uploaded but I can send one in another format if you cant edit them.

Yes sir that would be great ! Step file or if you have a picture of all the measurements I would love take it from there. Thanks
