Great ideas here. I am looking at upgrading to dual bowden so did you design a LH version of the mount at all :) ?

Ignore me - just realise Repetier has a mirror option!

Who the fuck uses 50mm fans? What is this? First of april joke?

If you don't like it don't use. Who the fuck comes on Thingivers and kicks off about a free design?

I doubt very much it is a joke when 152 people have collected this print,... what is the issue with having a 50mil Fan?
Plus, It was posted in May and not April,...lol

I designed something similar to your hotend mount and centralised it on the x carriage plate as you have using then same bearing mounting holes. I found the extruder tip was very close to the heatbed when homed. I realised this when I managed to snap the fragile and quite thin heatbreak on my original E3D. It seems to be a lot thinner than the standard heatbreaks as it doesnt use a silicone sleeve. Did you have the same problem? I also found that now I have changed it to a bowden setup there is a clicking from the extruder stepper motor. It seems to be caused by a partially blocked hotend as I have changed the motor to a more powerful one.

I didn't have problems with mine getting snapped, it homed just clear of the bed but with minimal space. I did suffer with a clicky extruder until I switched to an all metal extruder with a stainless steel drive gear.

Quite Interesting, Been thinking of removing my MK8 extruder and nozzle kit and replace it with an E3D V6 and move the feeder up top, just like you have, I've already ordered a right-hand feeder.

How is this setup working out for you, any issues with feed-rate or does it actually print somewhat better?

Awesome work, and watching for when and if you finish upgrading the files.

Thank You.

It worked really well for me with great print quality. The only issue I had was with the e3d v6 clone hot end, the throats are terrible and would cause clogging. Once I found a good one it was fine. I would recommend buying a quality hotend. I am in the process of rebuilding the printer around a genuine E3D Titan Aero with a Orballo P3 Steel frame only reusing the GEEETech board, screen, steppers and some wiring so I dont think I will be doing anything more with this thing. All the parts work, if you have RS Components Design Spark Mechanical I can share the .rsdoc files so you could make amendments.

Sounds like you've got some work ahead of you, I'm currently rebuilding or upgrading my GEEETech i3 Pro B, by printing parts on my GEEETech A30, which does have a genuine E3D V6 hotend.
Once I've printed the upgrades I'll start trying to make the PRO-B a far better machine that it is at the moment.

I'd like that files, that would be appreciated, I wish you all the luck with the project and Thank you.

I have added all the .RSDOC files so you can make some improvements and modifications.

Wow!,... I'm Speechless, A genuine offer, though I never thought there would be as much,... This is really appreciated,... Thanks.

I was only looking the other day for an LCD Mod and hotend Mod.and I've just ordered this feeder kit from GEEETech https://www.geeetech.com/mk8-extruder-aluminum-feeder-kit-for-175mm3mm-filament-p-995.html

Once I've finished and I'm happy with all the parts (no misprints),... I'll Post a male or remix.

again, Thanks.

Nice work! Great stuff here. I wanted to mount my LCD to the front but most of the designs are pretty meh this pack has literally everything I want! Thanks again.
