Looks like an interesting game. For anyone noticing that the thud game website is down, here are the rules from the way back machine archives.

Looks very nice. Can you reupload he video?

Yessss, totally printing a set of these Hnaflbaflwhiflsnifltafl pieces!

I have a plan to also incorporate magnets into the pieces and into a CNC'd playing field, so it can be easily stowed mid-game.

Won't have my printer for another week or two, but this is definitely on my list.

Thanks for doing this. I've also been looking to do the same as the original Thud sets are scarce. Am going to give this a try for the playing pieces but will probably revert to carpentry for the actual board.

Yeah, I would stroingly advice doing this for the board. Printing this monster was tedious, time and money consuming. I only did it to see if it could be done, and once I was halfway, there was no turning back. Now I have this whale of a board sitting around, and I had to print some wall mounts to get it out of the way.

Actually now I use a board that was laser etched into a big and thick piece of ox-leather. It looks very fantasy, and when I dont use it, I just roll it into a tube, put the figures in it, and close the ends with caps I printed for this. I do have the board as a big .svg File and the .stl's for the caps. I will upload them in the next few days after all that holiday insanity.

Look forward to seeing that, it does sound extremely cool and more in accord with the spirit of the game. Now you'll have me looking around for somewhere I can get that done :-)

I may be missing something, but where's the mountain?

dang, you are right. uploading it as i write this.

No worries. Awesome job by the way.

Nice derivative on the frog.
Always glad to see folks building on earlier works.

So cool! Really nice prints, by the way. I haven't heard of this game. Research time....

My initial thought was that it looked like a tafl variation, and I was kind right.
