This is great. I made the one for the top feed. And I used a printed [bearing] (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2461675) with 0.177" BBs for bearings. The center hole in it and the little hub/axle protrusions on the filament guide part were not a secure fit, so I just glued it in place with some CA gel.
The bearing printed in matching PLA looks great on the assembly.
I do kind of expect it to "snap" some day when a roll of filament gets bound up. At least that should make enough noise to alert me to the problem right away, and it's an easy to replace part!

What support settings did you use?

Hi, Any plans on doing the rear facing version.

Is it possible to extend it by 10mm towards the X-axis (when facing it)?

On my setup the filament still rubs against the z rod. Mainly because my spool is mounted on the bottom frame and this filament guide really helps.

On second thought, a design where the bearing is bottom based, with the filament going over the bearing might be more useful for my placement. If that's too much work then I understand.

Have you checked the original version at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2815524 ?
Mine is just a shortened version of it. Maybe it will work better for your setup?

Makes sense. I'll take a look and compare the lengths. Thanks!

is that a bearing? if so then which kind?

Yes. It uses a 608 bearing.

Where do you buy a 608 bearing?

right on, thanx

Also works great on the Ender 3!

Awesome! Thanks for the info. I updated title and description.
