With M4 Nyloc nuts on the bed, the springs compress just barely enough if you're not using glass or a mirror. Using this with glass or a mirror, you'll have to move you Z-stop up a few mm.

would it be possible for you to convert this to an stl format? id like to try these

This includes an .stl already, but I have also included the source .f3d file if anyone wants to make adjustments to the parameters.

The included .stl is 56mm wide and has 7 spokes, and is sized for an m4 nut.

Well apparently I misread or just assumed from memory my printer used m4 but uses m3 instead. I have no way to edit that and I dont think printing it at 85% or so will work but I'm new to all this so maybe I'm wrong. Other than that, the one I did print came out great. Nice design. Wish I could've used as I had m4 hardware but bed wont accommodate m4. I'll post a pic of the one I did print when I get home. Thanks

Fusion360 is free for enthusiats (link below) so it doesn't cost anything to use the software. You can easily change the screw and nut size in the .f3d file by only changing a couple of parameters and resaving the .stl.

If you still can't/don't want to install the software, let me know and I will see about putting up an m3 version when I get home. UPDATE: Added an m3 version with 10 spokes, m3 screws have a 0.5mm pitch, so each spoke moved will change the height by .05mm

excellent!! i saw the ,f3d but didnt see the stl. ill let you know how turns out. thanks a bunch
